Since before I was a high school student (that was sometime 1992) when I learned about this Reader’s Digest, I never stop reading it. It was a big help for me in my studies, as a teenage then, and now that I am married and a mother of a son, the more I read it. Its been part of my system, such that if I can’t read it, there is something lacking.
Their articles are so relevant and interesting. Their stories are real and I felt I had it or I am into it, too.It caters an avenue for me to really do something extra-ordinary. Indeed, it boost my confidence! So please keep on sending issues such that all readers will jump into one magazine, and that’s YOU…. Keep up the good works!![]()
2. CRITICAL-THINKING SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS TO DEVELOP.
Train students in critical thinking by assigning them the task
of writing a summary of each of their days for 21 days,
including what happened, what was good,
what was unpleasant, and why.
Starting today I’ll be sharing some inputs for teachers hopefully will encourage and remind me and to all teachers to move on teaching
…..
1. PRACTICE OPTIMISM. See the glass as half full rather than half empty.
In a parent conference,
begin with a compliment toward the child,
end with a compliment toward the child,
and sandwich the difficult news in between.
…teach them the statutes and instructions and make them the way they are to go and the things they are to do. Exodus 18:20
Keep on pressing on… Starting today, you can see in my blog thoughts for all of us teachers. My pupil gave me these pile of cards last year during our Teacher’s day and from then on I keep on reading one card each day
. It was indeed a great help for me to press on touching the lives of my pupils. And because of this, I’d like to share with you that might as well do the same thing with me.Here we go.."It is not knowledge, but the act of learning, not possession but the act of getting there, which grants the greatest enjoymnet." by Carl Friedrich Gauss
wow, it’s school days again, and yes, it’s not a joke..we started our class last tues, june 10. it was really a big day and a stress day as well for me… it much added to my stress because it was my first day (for girls only)LOL
. so i stop telling the house rules inside our classroom in the middle of my class and i have to go up in our faculty room because i cannot handle the pain anymore. and the world seems turning around so i have to rest in there.
i’m handling this time first graders and its really huuuhmmmm.but i thank God for his sustaining grace!!!yes, i was and i will be able to do this only through his grace….that’s why i am trusting all my children or my pupils unto Him alone as i start this school year. he is the responsible of everything, i will just do all my part….thank you God…
i really want God this time a heart that is a more loving and a motherly care more than how i care before…hehehe
. not only me but all of us as well. thank you for leading the way ahead of us..
something i’d like to share for working mothers as well as first time mothers;
1. be with them as much time as possible, though it’s true that your whole day was really tiring, but somehow we are responsible for our children and ought to be the first teacher .
2. because it is our choice to work regardless of our economic status, talking heart to heart with them is indeed an important key for us to know what’s inside their heart.
3. pray…pray…pray.there’s no other weapon i can TRUST ON except telling to God what’s inside my heart for my children..
hope these things will work on with you as much as i do. i apprecite if you guys out there can share your parenthood…God bless
I’d like to start my blogging with a word of prayer, and I qoute it from The Primetime with God…(i had no permission to share this but my intention is to impart this to people which I hope would somehow remind for all of us.)
It’s been my dream to have my own site to post my blogs…finally it’s here….well its never too late than never…
